California Hit By Strong Earthquake

A severe Earthquake having a magnitude of 5.8 hit Northern Baja California region on Wednesday morning. It was preceded by a couple of less strong quakes. The quake was quite strong and its tremors were felt in areas like San Diego, Tijuana, Los Angeles and Phoenix. Buildings swayed in San Diego, as per the reports. However, no casualty or damages were reported after the quake hit the region. It took place at around 10:48 a.m. regional time. The seismologists traced the epicenter of the quake to be around 20 to 22 miles from Mexicali, a border city in Mexico.
